Alexis Rassmusen

The band Perry sings a song entitled "if I die young". It's a song I didn't think I'd ever hear played at a funeral of someone I know. Our family attended Alexis Rassmusen's funeral Saturday. She was only sixteen and it's sad to have a life of someone so young cut short.

These are just a couple of momentos.

This is from the front of Sunday's standard examiner and was taken when people gathered to release balloons for lexi. If you look closely you can see my son Andrew in the back in a blue shirt. Lexi's best friend Brenna who is also my son's friend was also in the crowd.

I found another picture this morning on my daughters facebook account, I didn't even know this picture existed but it's what I refer to as the trio Brenna, Andrew, and Lexi.
