I've found a new home

I ended up having to move my entire blog because I've had to change my email address. (someone hacked the other one). So here is an entirely new blog, almost. To keep it simple I'm just going to keep up with this one, my quilting blog and the Cowboy Stories blog. It's going to take a week or so to get everything set up and maybe transfered over but in the meantime I'll share some pictures from a rodeo I went to last night.

And they are all upside down ha ha ha

These first two are barrel racing

I think this was steer wrestling, this guy does the timing, I think

Part of the program

Muttin bustin

The steer ready to be released from the chute

Steer wrestling

Now this part is funny, it's called a chicken chase. They release a number of chickens and whoever catches them keeps them.

The girl in the green coat got one.

These are the guys about ready to release the chickens.

and these are the kids who want them.

Team roping event. They had the bullfighters get the ropes off the calf.  They called them official calf untiers.

Calf Roping.

Waiting at the gate.

I think this was saddle bronc but you might want to enlarge the picture.  It could even be bull riding.

These are the men who get the flank straps off the broncs, get the bulls back into the gate, save riders from imminent doom and help out the mini bull riders too.

Heather and Amy sitting above us before the rodeo started.

and thats the end. Hope this didn't bore you too much but you can tell how much I love the rodeo. And from the pictures you can tell how much dirt gets kicked up in the arena.

Till later.
