Turkey Results

It didn't take very long to do the turkeys and one of them turned out to be a little bigger than we thought. They were both Toms and we were able to get some nice feathers.
This is a picture of the first one.

We didn't have anything big enough to put hot water in to aid us in getting the feathers off so we just pulled them as fast as we could.

This will be some good thanksgiving turkey. Yes it is gross but our ancestors did it and if they did it so can we.

The machete worked very well. I would definitely recommend it.
