Kaboom!

We had an unexpected result from some high winds a couple of days ago. This is the top of one of the blue spruces that are on either side of our house. It literally runs the entire length of our back deck (which is impossible to see underneath all the snow).

 

 It is a little hard to see here where it came from but that big gaping hole between the tall blue spruce on the left and the regular tree on the right is where it used to be.

Oh well it just means more firewood and blue spruce smells nice when it burns.
