After the disaster

We started on the garage yesterday moving things around and getting the snowmobiles out. This is what it looks like on the inside. In the first picture you can see where the roof beam just bent.

This is the other side of the garage. Amazingly the storage space we had built out of wood kept the roof from coming down on my Tony's snowmobile.

Tony's motorcycle wasn't so lucky.

This is just a peek inside that wooden storage area.

A friend came by with a front loader and dug out our driveway. What a huge difference compared to what I have been walking through all week.

The ironic thing is that it is supposed to rain most of this week. I guess we were supposed to have most of our winter in one month. It has also been unseasonably warm melting most of the snow that fell only a couple of weeks ago.
I have everything I need, my pots from the garden shed and two bags of soil, to start planting my peppers. I will be doing that this week and I am already anxious for spring to start up again. I will be planning my garden, going through my seeds and taking inventory of everything we have canned and stored. Hopefully the weather won't put me to work again as I have done more shoveling this year than I have in a long time.
