Getting it ready

It's only the end of March but definitely not too early to start prepping the raised gardens. I have already made out my garden plans detailing where everything will go and come heck or high water I am deer proofing my garden with T posts and deer netting.

I actually started that part of the post a couple of days ago but just haven't had time to go any further on it. We have been busy stripping down what remains of our garage, moving things around that usually go inside it and I will be getting a very large dump trailer today to get rid of what was damaged.
I planted Marigolds and Watermelon seeds a week ago and many of the Marigolds have already started sprouting along with one of the watermelons. There is seriously nothing more satisfying than collecting your own seeds and watching them germinate after you plant them.
Here is the progress thus far:
Marigolds

Watermelon

My beautiful Red Peppers

This is my whole set up right now in front of the living room windows.

And this is the water flowing behind our house right now because of all the snow melting on the mountains behind us. There is only water here about this time of year.
