This is what I am cooking.
It's a pot roast that I have been making for years with my own recipe and I figured I'd share it here.
The only difficult part is that for this I usually don't measure, I do it the old way. So I am going to get the measurements as close to accurate as I can.
1 can of beef broth is what I prefer to use but if I don't have it I use beef bullion or Tones Beef Base
With the beef bullion or beef base I dissolve it in water first and pour it in the crock pot.
Then I put the roast in.
After that I add:
1 Tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
1 Teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder or you can add fresh garlic
1 and 1/2 teaspoons of Roast beef seasoning pictured above. I couldn't tell you what all is in it but I get these at the dollar store and they are great for seasoning foods with beef. This is the only place I was able to find it online.
You can cut up about one quarter to one half of an onion just depending on how much onion flavor you like but I just add dried onions.
Last but not least I add 1/2 teaspoon of pepper and about 1 cup of water (maybe a little more)
I then put the crock pot on low heat for 8 hours and by the time everything is all done it is soo good.
